Details On Madden 10 Patch #2

EA Sports has released a blog detailing what will be found in the second patch for Madden 10. Not sure when the patch will be out as it is just awaiting certification clearance from Microsoft and Sony.

Below are some of what has gone into the patch.

  • Tribute sticker for Steve McNair added to Titans helmets
  • Tribute sticker for Defensive Coordinator Jim Johnson added to Eagles helmets
  • Doubled the length of replays
  • Increased frequency of auto-replays especially after touchdowns
  • Reduced the number of times the chain-gang measurement scene occurs
  • Extended time in post-play to allow those scenes to fully play out
  • Stats tuned for franchise mode
  • Decreased chances of injury for players with high injury ratings
  • Included each player’s draft info to be viewable in franchise

    They never fixed the good stuff. They only said they will do two patches.

    How about when there is a drop ball near the sideline (and it is obvious it bounces off them) they go to the ref cut scene saying it is a catch, and you cannot challenge the play after that.

    Also they have the Fix the LB AI when pursuing Half backs out of the back field

    Hmm, whenever I hear them drop the ball and then the announcer says it is a catch, it still puts the ball back at the line of scrimmage from the previous down and the down counts as normal. I think its just an announcing bug, like all of the other announcing bugs. I don't believe they actually respot the ball at the non-catch spot. Hence why you can't challenge the play.

    No I had they actually ruled a catch on the field when they never caught the ball and I couldn't challenge. This happen to me about 4 times on Bomb passes.
