Madden NFL Arcade will be available on Tuesday November 24th on Playstation Network, $14.99 and Wednesday the 25th on Xbox Live Arcade (1200 MS points) just in time for Thanksgiving. As Matt seems to have a tight hold on the basketball titles I am turning my attention to others, specifically EA Sports MMA game that is set to release mid-2010. Though we have a while to wait there are some things that are coming out about the game and one nice one is that of a gameplay trailer.
IGN has posted up their “first look” preview of the game. Topics discussed include the incorporation of the Fight Night Round 4 engine, organic combat feel, the use of Photo GameFace in career mode, the possibility of a women’s division, and some insight into the controls. A few weeks back both PS3 and 360 were suppose to get the NCAA Basketball 10 demo, but one was left out, that being the PS3. When the PS3 did’t get the demo, reports were circulating that they wouldn’t recieve the demo till 1 week after release of the game. I was browsing around the net and went to ncaastrategies.com and they said yesterday that the demo should be out for the PS3. I fired up my PS3 and saw it there. So it is downloading now and I will be back with my impressions on the game.
When getting word that we may not recieve the demo till a week after release, I had made the decision that I wouldn’t be buying this game. I will be back shortly with my impressions.
I’m not sure if many of you have seen the new blue alternates that the Mavs have been wearing this year which are 100% better than those green ones they have. Well, you will be able to get those in Live and 2K this year. According to pastapadre.com, the NBA has scheduled a roll-out plan to release these jerseys on Live and 2K. Here are the codes for the first set that was released this past Tuesday.

Over at Pastapadre he is stating that the NBA 2k10 patch for the 360 will be out tomorrow at around 2 PM PT. There is no word on when the PS3 patch will be out but many expect it to be out next week. From Pasta…
The patch for NBA 2K10 is scheduled to be released at about 2am PT for the 360 according to 2K Sports. As to the PS3 there is nothing new to share there so it seems likely that will happen sometime next week. The patch is supposed to alleviate framerate problems among other fixes

For all you big MMA fans, EA Sports is holding a live chat this weekend during the Fedor vs Rogers fight. Here is the information from the EA MMA site.
As you know, EA SPORTS has launched a new series of Live Online Chats with various members of the production and development teams. Our next event is this weekend!
EA SPORTS MMA will be hosting a live chat session during the Strikeforce: Fedor vs. Rogers event. Project Lead Rob Hyder and Designer Vic Lugo will be online to comment on the fights, take polls, and talk MMA during the event. The Dev team will also be joined by long time MMA fighter Nick “The Goat” Thompson, so get your questions ready.The session will start Saturday, November 7th at 8:30pm and will run until the broadcast is over.
A reminder that Rob and Vic are not able to talk about the upcoming EA SPORTS MMA title, but they will be able to discuss the first look video that will be shown during the Strikeforce event. This chat is designed for MMA fans to gather for a live chat during the big fight.
